HOW DO YOUR PRODUCTS REPRESENT SOCIAL GROUPS OR ISSUES?
Our music video speaks to real social issues, including generational conflict, what society desires and the pressure of discovering normal or traditional careers. In the story of the boy called "Challa" We expose the dilemmas of many young individuals today in trying to balance their dreams with what society and their families want. Our audiences are students, young adults, and aspiring artists, and anyone caught in between their hearts and their family heritage, especially in conservative or traditional families. The story talks about a common dilemma, the tough decision between being yourself or doing what others desire. The video contrasts night and day to convey "Challas" emotions. At night, he is in a world of fantast. A world where he is peaceful but also extremely lonely, confronting his loneliness and sadness. At day, we find him playing the guitar and singing joyfully in the mountains, living life like a real "Challa" happily, freely, and doing what makes him joyful. He even ventures into the countryside, becoming one with the rustic country lifestyle, with no pressure, and living every moment. One of the most important scene is when his dad is upset because of his poor grades. Totally frustrated, his dad asks him, "What are you doing? Did i teach you for this, for aimless career?" Thia scene definitely illustrates the generational gap, as the father belives that his son should persue a safer and more practical vocation. The boy is confused and depressed beacuse of this disapproval. Even though he loves music, he starts doubting his decisions. This is a situation most teenagers go through, they hide their passion after listening to dicouraging words from their familes. They give up what they love to conform to society standards, resulting in depression, loneliness, and loss of identity. Confined to these expectations, they are unable to find meaninf and happiness in their lives
